The longer we travel along our discipleship journey the more we realize that is has been the other people investing in our lives who have helped us get to where we are.  In fact most of us can identify people in our life who were so instrumental in our development that we would be a completely different people if it wasn't for their investment in our life.

A Christian's motivation to serve others comes from a realization of all that God has done in our lives and an awareness of how He has used other people to accomplish many of those things.  As you travel along your discipleship journey our desire is to help you find out how God has uniquely created you, and how you can use your uniqueness to serve in ways that others cannot.  God has created us with different passions, abilities, personalities.  He has given us different gifts, and along the way we have all had a unique set of experiences.  All of these qualities uniquely shape you to invest in someone else's life. For example, you may have went through a particularly hard situation in life, but now that you have come through it, God may use you to help someone who is going though a similar situation.

At New Hope we have several opportunities for you to give back, but we don't just want you to fill a position, we want you to fulfill your passion for helping others.  Because of this we have created Test Drive.  Test Drive is your opportunity to find out about serving in a ministry as well as try out a ministry position for 6 weeks.  If this sounds like something you're interested in checking out contact the church office or one of the pastors for more information.
